For 125 years, the FCC Group's Environmental Services area has provided municipal services and end-to-end waste management, serving  83,5 million people in 5,900 municipalities.

The assets of the FCC Group's environmental area are owned by FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente Holding, S.A., through the FCC enviro brand, which in turn is 50.01% owned by Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, S.A. and 49.99% owned by CPP Investments.

It boasts over a century of experience and this is reflected in the variety of services provided: collection, treatment, recycling, energy recovery and disposal of solid urban waste; public street cleansing; maintenance of sewage networks; parks and ground maintenance; facility management; treatment and disposal of industrial waste; and recovery of polluted soil.

The Atlantic platform provides environmental services in 3,900 municipalities through its subsidiaries FCC Medio Ambiente (Spain), FCC Environnement (France), FCC Meio Ambiente (Portugal) and FCC Ámbito (industrial waste), serving a population of around 39 million inhabitants and managing 12.8 million tonnes of solid waste per year.
