Innovation is in the DNA of FCC MEDIO AMBIENTE, which has been researching electric mobility for over 45 years and developed its first 100% electric refuse collection lorry in 1974. It currently has a fleet of around 24,000 vehicles, of which more than 4,700 are sustainable vehicles (CNG, electric and Bi Power).

In 2018, it developed the first affordable and versatile industrial e-mobility platform for urban service vehicles, successfully meeting the objectives set at the outset. And in 2024, it unveiled the H2TRUCK, the first electric chassis-platform with a hydrogen fuel cell for heavy-duty urban service vehicles, the first of its kind worldwide.
