Main figures
FCC Environment annually manages 25 million tons of waste and produces more than 2.8 million tons of recovered material and around 600,000 tons of refuse-derived fuel (RDF). It has more than 700 operational waste management facilities, of which about 200 are environmental complexes dedicated to waste treatment and recycling, including 11 waste to energy projects with a capacity of 3.2 million tons per year and 360 MW. It currently has a fleet of more than 16,000 vehicles, of which 2,131 are sustainable vehicles (CNG, electric, hybrid and Bi-Power).
