FCC Medio Ambiente is coordinating the LIFE ZEROLANDFILLING project, which proposes an innovative management model for treating non-recyclable municipal waste that normally ends up in landfills (mainly non-recyclable plastics and bio-waste). This MSW will be revalorised into commercially interesting products: green naphtha and charcoal. The project represents a sustainable and competitive zero landfill solution, with a low carbon footprint and a circular economy approach, which will have a strong impact on Europe's environmental and economic future.
