Climate Change
FCC Medio Ambiente is committed to the fight against climate change and to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Within the framework of the SDG 13 "Action for climate" and for the eigth consecutive year, FCC Medio Ambiente has recorded the calculation of the organisation's Carbon Footprint in the Registry of Carbon Footprint, Compensation and CO2 Absorption Projects of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge's Spanish Office of Climate Change (OECC - Oficina Española de Cambio Climático).
In compliance with its commitments to reduce GHG emissions, FCC Medio Ambiente obtained the Calculo-Reduzco-Compenso seal awarded by the Spanish Office of Climate Change. This accreditation joins the previous seals, which since 2013 endorse FCC Medio Ambiente's record in the aforementioned process and has been maintained ever since.

In 2012, we set out our first climate change strategy. We have since intensified our projects and actions in this area and are currently included in our 2050 Sustainability Strategy. This strategy includes the simulation of possible future scenarios that have been designed taking as a reference the evolution of GHG emissions in recent years.
