A LA PAR Foundation (formerly Carmen Pardo-Valcarce Foundation)

An institution with more than 60 years' experience in the social-labour inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the current agreement between FCC Equal and the A la Par Foundation, various students from that organisation are being trained at the offices of FCC to carry out work on which the company bases its business activities: waste collection, street cleansing or ground maintenance, amongst others. After receiving and enjoying their training, many join the employee payroll of FCC in its different sections.

The "Pardo-Valcarce" Occupational Centre opened in 1991 with the aim of being a stepping stone between the labour market and people with intellectual disabilities. This space, very close to the FCC offices in Las Tablas and subsidised by the Community of Madrid since 2002, offers training adapted to the interests and needs of each of the students and users, allowing them to gain the necessary skills to work for an ordinary company.
