The workers of the selective collection of Madrid and FCC Environment donate more than 14,000 euros to Medicos Sin Fronteras in the fight against the coronavirus
The workers of the selective collection service of Madrid city have donated from their social fund the amount of 10,178.43 euros to the non-profit organization Médicos Sin Fronteras, in support of all the health personnel who every day fights the COVID-19 pandemic.
The objective is to improve the conditions of the medical personnel and the patients who are fighting against the virus, as well as to provide help for the medical wards set up in the city.
FCC Medio Ambiente (the Spanish brand for FCC Environment), within the values of its corporate social responsibility policy and with the aim of helping to reduce the effects that this epidemic is causing on the population, has decided to contribute an amount of 4,156.49 euros, equivalent to the amount contributed by their own selective collection employees, corresponding to Lot 1.
Both the workers and the company wanted to express their total respect and admiration for all the people who are working, tirelessly and on the front line, so that the Covid-19 does not win the battle.
