The Board of County Commissioners in Clay County, located in northern Florida, has awarded FCC Environmental Services, subsidiary of FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente in the United States, the county's solid waste collection service. The award represents an order book value of up to $420 million (about €392 million) for a maximum of 10 years and two possible five-year extensions.

To serve the more than 230,000 residents of the County, FCC Environmental Services will have a workforce of 70 people and plans to make substantial operational investments, including the purchase of 44 collection lorries and three ancillary vehicles. These investments showcase the company's commitment to environmental sustainability and its focus on providing innovative solutions to its clients.
