El ayuntamiento de Palm Beach, Florida (EE.UU.), renueva su confianza en FCCenviro para la recogida de sus residuos
Palm Beach City Council in Florida (USA) has renewed its contract with FCCenviro for waste collection
- With this contract renewal, FCC Environmental Services will have served the residents of Palm Beach County for 14 consecutive years.
- This contract is worth up to €113 million.
FCC Environmental Services, a subsidiary of FCCenviro and one of the largest comprehensive waste management and recycling companies in the United States, has been awarded the new contract for household waste collection and recycling in Service Area 4 of Palm Beach County, which was first awarded to the company in March 2019. The new contract, awarded by the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) Board, will come into effect on 1 October 2026 with an associated portfolio of up to $130 million (€113 million) over the next seven years.
FCC Environmental Services plans to recruit 85 new staff members, who will join the 120 people already on the service’s payroll and support operations across the region. The service will be supported by more than 50 vehicles and pieces of equipment, ensuring continuity, efficiency and a reliable service for the communities served.
