Aware of the importance of nutrition and dietetics in daily life, and given that being overweight or obese constitutes a high risk of suffering from multiple chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure or joint problems, FCC Medio Ambiente is starting an internal Healthy Nutrition campaign in collaboration with the occupational risk prevention company Cualtis/VITALY.

The campaign started off at the Madrid branch office, coinciding with World Obesity Day, where individualised consultations were held. Each person underwent a Body Composition Analysis (TANITA) through a machine that uses Electrical Bioimpedance to evaluate and quantify different parameters, in order to give individual dietary recommendations, completed with the delivery of a flyer with nutritional recommendations and advice.

The event was a great success, with the worker's extensive participation. The attendees highlighted the importance of the initiative in promoting health and well-being in the workplace, and pledged to continue working together to achieve a healthier working environment.
