FCC Environment UK, a subsidiary of FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente, has been awarded the prestigious British Safety Council Sword of Honour Award, which recognises companies that achieve excellence in health, safety and environmental management. This is the third time it has been honoured with this award, having previously received it in 2017 and 2020.

On this occasion, the accolade was given to the company’s Green Energy division for the five-star rating received in the audit of Eastcroft's waste-to-energy facility.

The British Safety Council is a not-for-profit organisation that strives to protect working people from accidents, hazards and unsafe conditions. It plays a key role in the political process that has led to the historic adoption of safety legislation in the UK.
