FCC Environment awarded prestigious British Safety Council Sword of Honour Award
FCC Environment UK, a subsidiary of FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente, has been awarded the prestigious British Safety Council Sword of Honour Award, which recognises companies that achieve excellence in health, safety and environmental management. This is the third time it has been honoured with this award, having previously received it in 2017 and 2020.
On this occasion, the accolade was given to the company’s Green Energy division for the five-star rating received in the audit of Eastcroft's waste-to-energy facility.

These awards recognise the commitment, dedication and absolute professionalism undertaken. The British Safety Council is a not-for-profit organisation that strives to protect working people from accidents, hazards and unsafe conditions. It plays a key role in the political process that has led to the historic adoption of safety legislation in the UK.
FCC Environment UK is present in the United Kingdom since 1989 where it serves nearly 19 million people and carries out activities such waste collection, recycling, treatment and energy recovery, street cleansing, ground maintenance and facility management, among others.
