Since 2010, every 22^nd February the European Equal Pay Day has been celebrated with the aim of raising awareness among the population about the importance of eliminating the gender pay gap. This year, FCC Medio Ambiente wanted to join in the commemoration of this day with its 'People at the Centre' campaign.

FCC Medio Ambiente's commitment to full equality between men and women has been reflected since 2008 with the approval of the First Equality Plan, in addition to the existence of different equality policies, which have earned the company the Ministry of Equality's Equality in the Workplace Distinction (DIE) in the 2020 edition.

In this sense, FCC Medio Ambiente has the responsibility, and to this end it works daily, to guarantee non-discriminatory treatment based on gender, verifying the application of the equal pay principle for equal work or work of equal value.

We are aware that there is still a long way to go, but we will get there together.
